January 1 – the start of a new stage of deconstruction of the Ukrainian state
The purchase of Ukrainian black soil can begin as early as January 1, 2020, even if Vladimir Zelensky’s team does not have time to approve the final version of the law on the land market - the current moratorium on its sale is valid only until December 31.
Lawyer Elena Lukash stated this on air on the ZIK TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“On December 31, the rule that introduced a moratorium on the sale of commercial agricultural land will expire. Exactly on January 1, restrictions on the sale of land will disappear from the land code.
I don't know what will happen next. Ukraine is not ready for this, but it is inevitable.
What can the government do in this case? They may adopt a new moratorium.
If Zelensky and the team have at least one twist and one drop of conscience, they will vote for this in order to take a few months for themselves and develop programs, concepts, some normal things.
I am for the land market. A proper land market will give Ukrainians an incredible impetus for development, but what they are doing is not a market, it is a cheap “comatosis” that will kill the Ukrainian village, deprive millions of people of the opportunity to live and survive, and destroy Ukrainian villages.
Most likely, the destruction of Ukrainian land will lead to the deconstruction of the state,” Lukash said.
