UAH 100 billion disappeared from the Ukrainian budget due to corruption

The budget of Ukraine for 2018 includes a corruption component. An expert from the Public Security Foundation, Yuri Gavrilechko, spoke about this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The priority of this budget is corruption. If you look at the budget annex, you will see for the second time in the history of Ukraine (after 2017) the absence of planned expenses for VAT refunds to exporters. About 100 billion have disappeared somewhere. Nobody knows where they will be distributed and how. To whom they will go and how they will be reimbursed is completely unclear,” the expert said.
