Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov reported on his Facebook, that Ukraine will conduct further relations with the CIS countries on the search for criminals through Interpol.
“Ukraine will conduct further relations to coordinate the search for criminals with CIS member countries within the framework of the independent international system Interpol, and not a “manual sweep” base under the control of the Russian regime,” wrote Avakov, Prime Minister of Ukraine
Avakov also said that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine informed the Ministry of Internal Affairs that, in connection with the decision taken by the Cabinet of Ministers in February 2015, Ukraine is ending its participation in this agreement.
In fact, the adoption of this decision means that suspects wanted in Ukraine for committing serious crimes since August 24 can safely take refuge in the territory of the CIS countries, remaining inaccessible to the Kiev repressive machine.
