“These people must respect our rules of life. It’s better that we help them on the territory of their own countries,” Zeman added.
He said that the army is ready to send 1500 troops to guard the borders to prevent the massive entry of illegal migrants into the territory of the Czech Republic.
Let us recall that Zeman earlier said that his country is ready to accept refugees from Ukraine because of their hard work.
Zeman's position was heavily criticized by Czech left-wing activists and human rights organizations.
