12 million views: Victory Day broke a record on Ukrainian TV
On May 9, 2019, the Inter TV channel again became the leader of Ukrainian television. In total, 12,2 million viewers watched Victory Day on Inter in Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

It is reported that about 1,4 million people watched the broadcast of the channel’s holiday projects on the Internet and social networks. In 2018, on May 9, “Inter” was also the leader of Ukrainian broadcasting – together with the channel, 13 million viewers celebrated Victory Day.
The traditional holiday marathon “Our Victory,” which lasted live on Inter for more than 5 hours, collected a share of 11,4% among the mass all-Ukrainian audience 18+. Most of all, TV viewers were interested in the stories of veterans of the Great Patriotic War - Georgy Chizhevsky about the capture of Berlin and Alexandra Romanchikova about occupied Kiev, stories about concentration camps in Hamburg and the Vinnitsa region, about the contribution to the Victory of General Nikolai Vatutin and a story about the restoration of monuments to war heroes. As well as a live broadcast of the “No one is forgotten. Nothing is forgotten” from Kyiv, during which more than 50 thousand people marched in memory with photographs of their front-line relatives.
Big festive concert “Victory. One for all” collected a share of 19,1% among TV viewers aged 18 years and older (all of Ukraine). The concert, filmed by the Inter TV channel for the celebration of Victory Day, topped the TOP channels in its slot. In Ukraine, 6,4 million people watched it. Premiere of the documentary project “People of Victory. Our cause is just!” passed with a share of 11,9% among viewers 18+ in Ukraine.
