This is evidenced by the data of his electronic declaration, Ukrainian News reports.
The deputy’s annual income was 79 hryvnia, salary, he has no corporate rights or securities, only 202 thousand hryvnia in bank accounts, but in cash 133 million hryvnia.
The deputy’s wife received 1,2 million hryvnia in income in 2015 from the alienation of property.
She rents a house with an area of 355 sq.m. in London (UK), the price of which is not specified, and a Range Rover Evoque Prestig car worth 0,5 million hryvnia.
She also declared her ownership of a Chopard watch with precious stones worth 0,3 million hryvnia.
This news is being enthusiastically commented on on social networks. Thus, Ukrainian blogger Ivan Oberemko drew attention to the fact that the deputy, who does not trust Ukrainian banks, is a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Financial and Banking Policy.
“The worst thing about this deputy Demchak (BPP), who has at least 300 kilograms of money in cash, that is, 133 million hryvnia, is not even that the poor people are running around in the comments and saying that this is normal. The most important thing is that Demchak is the head of the Supreme Council of Ukraine Committee on financial policy and banking activities. Once again: the deputy head of financial policy and banking keeps 133 million hryvnia in cash. At the same time, he has three bank accounts open and on them is: 1. 2726 hryvnia (not a million, but just two thousand hryvnia), 2. 386 pounds (not millions, but just three hundred pounds), 3. 10 hryvnia (not a million , and ten f***ing hryvnia). And there are 133 million in cash. In short, you can be calm about our financial policy and banking activities,” the blogger writes on his page on the social network.
