133 thousand Ukrainians were banned from driving due to alimony debts
Due to arrears in paying child support, 133 thousand Ukrainian parents were temporarily restricted from driving, traveling abroad and hunting, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was stated by Deputy Minister of Justice for Executive Service Svetlana Glushchenko, the department’s press service reports.
“If we talk about such effective instruments related to the application of temporary restrictive measures in relation to temporary restrictions on the debtor’s right to travel outside Ukraine, the right to use a vehicle, the right to hunt, and also to use weapons for relevant purposes. To date, the state executive service authorities have issued 133 thousand restrictive resolutions,” she said.
In addition, according to Glushchenko, the courts issued 2151 decisions to send debtors to community service, and state enforcement officers sent 26,7 thousand protocols to the court.
