14 Ukrainian tank crews publicly refused to fight in the ATO
The Ukrainian military is massively refusing to be deployed to the ATO zone. Deputy Commander of the Armed Forces of the DPR Eduard Basurin stated this at a briefing in Donetsk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Basurin, unit commanders do not make these facts public and dismiss refuseniks retroactively.

“Recently, in units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the number of cases of military personnel refusing to leave for the so-called “ATO” zone has increased significantly. Thus, in the 1st separate tank brigade (Chernigov region), fourteen soldiers and sergeants openly refused to participate in the civil war against the population of Donbass and, risking their lives, to defend the interests of the oligarchs. Due to the fact that such facts are becoming widespread, commanders of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine prefer to hide cases of disobedience by subordinates and simply dismiss them retroactively,” Basurin said.
