15 years given to the killer of “Kharkov Oksana Makar”
Kharkov, September 15 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Pavel Gubin, a local resident who on May 11 doused 17-year-old Yulia Irnidenko with moonshine and burned alive, was convicted in Kharkov.

Gubin was sentenced to 15 years and ordered to pay 300 thousand in moral damages, the portal “057” reports.
Let us remind you that on May 11 of this year, 22-year-old Pavel and his future victim ended up at the same youth party. He brought moonshine, began to brag about its strength and even set it on fire to demonstrate how it burned. After drinking this drink, everyone felt sick. Then Pavel tried to bring Yulia to her senses and doused her with water, after which a quarrel broke out between them. The convict took the remains of the moonshine and poured it on the girl’s head, and then set it on fire.
After which he himself tried to extinguish the flame with water. The victim had 90% of her body and limbs burned, and on May 21, Yulia, who immediately began to be called “Kharkov Oksana Makar,” despite the efforts of doctors, died in the hospital.
Gubin was taken into custody the day after the tragedy. The owner of the apartment, Sergei Sensinevich (at the time of the incident, he, Gubin and Yulia were in the apartment) acted as a witness.
At the same time, the grandmother of the deceased does not believe in Pavel Gubin’s guilt. The court explained its decision by saying that Gubin constantly changed his testimony, which was clearly trying to evade responsibility. In addition, the court did not take into account the testimony of witness Ilchenko, who allegedly saw Gubin and Sensinevich leaving the apartment and Pasha shouting to him “Why did you do that.”
The mother of the convicted guy hoped until the very end for a more lenient sentence.
