15% of Ukrainians volunteer for the Armed Forces of Ukraine – study
15% of Ukrainian citizens are engaged in volunteering, in particular, 9% - over the past 12 months, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
This is evidenced by data from a survey conducted by Corestone Group and GfK Ukraine.
43% of volunteers volunteered independently or as part of a group that is not a permanent organization, 29% noted the organization, 36% could not answer the question.

Volunteer activities of the population most often consist of helping vulnerable groups and the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Notably, 78% of volunteers have also made monetary or in-kind donations in the past 12 months—meaning volunteers are significantly more likely to donate than the general population.
The survey was conducted by order of the Zagoriy Family Foundation among 1 thousand citizens of Ukraine in cities with a population of more than 50 thousand inhabitants. The field stage of the research lasted from January 17 to February 6, 2018. Field work was carried out by GfK Ukraine.
