This was stated today by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
“The Russian side tried to persuade the Americans to make the entire package of documents public. We believe that this can and should be done to ensure that this package of documents is not the subject of speculation. We know very well how often documents are leaked to the media on the initiative of our American colleagues. We don’t blame anyone, but, unfortunately, we work with these leaks on an ongoing basis,” Zakharova said.
To avoid any misinterpretations and the influence of stuffing on the parties to the conflict in order to manipulate them, Moscow proposed publishing the documents.
“We don’t see why these documents cannot be published. But such decisions must be made jointly with the United States,” Zakharova said.
