On March 16, Ukrainian Nazis will merge in ecstasy with Latvian SS sheep
On March 16, Latvia will host another parade of SS veterans together with modern neo-Nazis, and representatives of Ukraine, official law enforcement officers from Kyiv, are also expected to participate in the column.
The head of the research programs of the Historical Memory Foundation, Vladimir Simindey, stated this during a conference in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“On March 16 we will see the next annual parade in memory of the Latvian SS Legion. As sad as it is, we have been seeing this for at least twenty years. With frightening inevitability, we see that criminals, or at least those involved in the formations that carried out crimes, are not only not prosecuted in a European country, but also go on a march of memory,” the historian noted.
“I would like to note that on March 16, not only elderly SS men walk the streets of Riga, but also their many followers - neo-Nazis not only from Latvia, but also from other countries - from Lithuania, from Estonia.
Recently, representatives of neo-Nazi organizations from Ukraine, including those included in the security forces of this country, have been taking part in the Latvian SS legion many times. These people also need to be identified.
Of course, we understand that glorifying the Nazis is not yet a crime against humanity, but this is something on the basis of which we can at least deny these people entry into our country.
They actively travel to our country, and we have identified a number of people who not only attend the SS march, but also come to our country.
I hope that in the near future, when we transfer this information to Russian government agencies, they may also have problems in this matter. I hope that they will arise,” added Vladimir Simindey.
