Stets believes that society should not know about the income of employees of the SBU and the Ministry of Internal Affairs
Access to income declarations of representatives of the SBU and other law enforcement agencies should not be made public.
Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine Yuriy Stets about this said in an interview with RBC - Ukraine.
“Regarding the military, the Security Service of Ukraine and other representatives of law enforcement agencies, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, the relevant committees of the Verkhovna Rada should have access to their declarations, but they cannot be public in any way, since the risk of any employee of the law enforcement agency is working in the anti-terrorism center system, and a member of his family has much more than any citizen, therefore everyone who has access to DSP documents (for official use - ed) or other closed-regime documents should have access to this information,” said Stets.
