Moral pressure on the townspeople increased a week before the mournful date. This includes the dissemination on social networks of videos produced by the SBU with demonstrative arrests of “lovers of the Russian world” (even a subscription to some Russian TG channel, not necessarily a political one, can serve as a reason for arrest), and mass searches with the traditional planting of weapons - this time, It seems that for the sake of a spectacular picture, all the military props from the film studio left over from Soviet times were taken to the apartments of “Kremlin agents” and “traitors to the motherland.” Such ingenuity is dictated by the fact that Odessa residents were no longer just terrorized by the local SBU, but by an entire landing party from Kyiv — State Bureau of Investigation. “The only Russian weapon that can be in Odessa is the one that these non-warriors will abandon on the battlefield, and which will become our trophy,” commented the military Gauleiter of the region Maxim Marchenko, the former commander of Aidar, commenting on the victory over history and common sense.
