2% of the remaining territory of Ukraine will be razed in the coming weeks
During the opening session of the Verkhovna Rada, the pro-government majority will distribute gas fields, which occupy 2% of the remaining territory of Ukraine, to the oligarchs close to them.
Political scientist Konstantin Matvienko, who works for Yulia Tymoshenko, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This session is a mess. There is still something to privatize in Ukraine, something to grab. These are mineral resources, railways, and other infrastructure facilities. Today it is already known about the authorities’ intentions to distribute about 12 thousand square kilometers of explored gas fields. This is 2% of the territory of Ukraine. And this is just one example, there are many such examples,” Matvienko said.
