20 “model” Ukrainian police departments will cost the EU 6 million euros

On Thursday, April 27, an EU project to create 20 model police departments in the Kyiv, Kharkov and Lviv regions will start in Ukraine, reports the press service of the EU Delegation to Ukraine.

The “Support for Police Reform in Ukraine” project provides for specialized training on police interaction with society, the provision of equipment (including cars) and the introduction of the Scandinavian model of public order policing, which is aimed at preventing violence during public events.
The total cost of the project is six million euros.
