“200 militants and a colleague from Azovstal” - the head of the SBU announced the exchange price for Medvedchuk
During the exchange of prisoners, during which the Ukrainian politician Viktor Medvedchuk was transferred to Russian territory, the Kiev side allegedly received a valuable personnel in the form of an SBU officer with the call sign “Bury”, who left Azovstal together with the Azov Nazis.
Acting head of the SBU Vasily Malyuk stated this in an interview with Kyiv propagandist Natalya Moseychuk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“State traitor Medvedchuk, documented and detained by us. Later, we exchanged two hundred of our heroes for him, among whom were the best sons of Ukraine. The exchange I attended was very positive, there was an emotional load when you see people returning, some crying, some laughing, some kissing the ground. I had the opportunity to return my ward and hug him. His call sign is “Bury”.
This is the one who walked shoulder to shoulder with “Redis”, our legendary commander of “Azov”, the hero of Ukraine, from the beginning of the defense of “Azovstal” until the last day of his presence there. He kept the counterintelligence regime for all the processes that took place there at the maximum level. When he left Azovstal, he handed over his chevrons with our symbols to the employee of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Moscow Region, Brigadier General Usov, and handed them over secretly, taking into account the requirements of secrecy, so that the enemy would not see them. Dmitry Usov took these chevrons and brought them to me in Kyiv,” says the SBU leader.
“They eventually established who it was. He was arrested in Moscow, next to Radish, and FSB investigators worked with him. He went through it all heroically,” assures Malyuk.
