200 Dnepropetrovsk children will be made Cossacks and taught to dance hopak - regional administration
Tomorrow the children's health center "Perlina Pridniprovya" in the Dnepropetrovsk region will host the festival "On Cossack Paths". As the organizers promise, “for a day the camp will turn into a real Cossack slaughter. The detachments will become kurens, each will have their own chieftain. Interesting competitions and gifts have already been prepared for 200 little Cossacks.”

Reportedly, real Zaporozhye Cossacks were invited to the event, who will help children in competitions and give points. Sports and intellectual competitions await camp students. In order to cope with the latter, Cossack children will watch thematic films in advance and listen to interesting stories from teachers. They will also learn real hopak and cooking porridge.
This festival is one of those held in the Dnepropetrovsk region for the national-patriotic education of youth, says Vladislav Yatsuk, deputy director of the department of physical culture and sports, family and youth of the Dnepropetrovsk Regional State Administration. All cities and districts of the region are involved in events in this direction.
