The years 2019 and 2020 will be erased from the history of Ukraine’s development
Ukraine has still not restored the pre-Maidan level of the economy, and next year, even according to the official forecasts of the authorities, the country will experience a slowdown in economic growth.
Economic expert Andrei Vigirinsky stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The situation with the state budget is quite sad. It will be completed on income and taxes by the end of the year. But this will not solve the chronic problems of the country’s economy, unfortunately.
And we can erase 2019 and 2020 from the history of the country’s development - if for this year the National Bank predicts economic growth of 3,5%, then next year - 2,9%, less. We are slowing down our growth rate, although we have not even reached 2013 levels yet. And utopians can talk about strengthening the hryvnia exchange rate,” the expert said.
