“I would really like Ukrainian business not to make money in the Russian Federation now,” Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze said recently. In her opinion, making money in Russia at the moment is unethical for Ukrainians. I believe that it is much more unethical to walk around the world with an outstretched hand,” writes the ex-official.

“According to an all-Ukrainian survey of citizens conducted by the USAID project “Fair Justice” and the company GfK Ukraine, the financial situation of families in 61% of respondents has somewhat or significantly worsened over the past year, or approximately half of the respondents believe that their financial situation will not change or will worsen next year . These are the direct consequences of the actions of Madam Deputy Prime Minister and her colleagues.
By the way, the results of this survey show that every fifth Ukrainian (20%) is in favor of restoring close ties with Russia, including in Kyiv - every fourth (25%), in the Eastern region - almost every second (47%). I believe that the majority of those who refused to answer this question or declared their neutral attitude towards it, in fact support it, are simply afraid of accusations of separatism,” the ex-official shares data from sociologists.
