After the end of the meeting, the participants confirmed to the press that they had reached a certain common denominator: The parties agreed to a complete ceasefire until 10 a.m. June 27. The cessation of hostilities should be the first step towards the start of the negotiation process for a peaceful resolution of the situation in Donbass.
As Navigator reported, on June 20, Petro Poroshenko announced a ceasefire by ATO forces until June 27. However, just yesterday, clashes between security forces and militias continued.
Today, the speaker of the Information and Analytical Center of the National Security and Defense Council, Vladimir Chepovoy, said that today the militias did not use weapons.
“In the period from 9.00 to 17.00, no cases of use of weapons were recorded. There were no attempts to seize administrative buildings, military units or anything else,” he said.
