Training will begin this month. Large-scale exercises between US and Ukrainian ground forces are planned towards the middle of the year.

The last time international military exercises took place in the Lviv region was in September last year. About one and a half thousand military personnel from 15 countries took part in them, including representatives of the USA, Canada, Germany and the UK.
