300 thousand signatures collected in Donbass will be transferred to the UN and OSCE

“Our next task is to submit petitions to international organizations, including the UN and OSCE. We plan to do this together with our colleagues from the Lugansk People's Republic. We think this is important. It’s one thing when a statement is made by the head of the republic or one of the representatives of the DPR in Minsk, it’s another thing when hundreds of thousands of our citizens openly express their position, put their signatures and indicate all their data. And it will be extremely difficult for the international community to dismiss this. The international community will be forced to pay attention to what is happening here and figure out who is to blame.

Over the past 2 years, if the situation in Donbass has improved in any way, it was only thanks to the efforts of one side – ours. And at the cost of considerable losses.

We are taking all steps to ensure that the situation does not become the same as it was before the signing of a set of measures on February 12, 2015, when the number of victims and destruction was disproportionately greater, when we did not have the opportunity to provide everything necessary for our citizens, when only thanks to the efforts Russia, in the form of humanitarian convoys, has simply managed to survive for many. We understand perfectly well that in 2014 the international community provided Ukraine with a kind of carte blanche when it did not notice what was happening here. It did not notice the direct and targeted destruction of civilians.

They didn't pay attention to it then. Now the situation is changing, although not as quickly as we would like. Our next action is that we intend to hurry the world community to force Ukraine to comply with the Minsk agreements, and more than 326 thousand signatures are significant confirmation of our desire. We hope that we will be heard,” said Pushilin.
