Fleet Commander-in-Chief Alexander Vitko told reporters about this on Tuesday.
“Today we are renting out the first stage - 639 apartments. This complex will have 50 houses – 2100 apartments. The houses are all ready, registration is now underway, they are included in the register, enrolled in Black Sea Fleet funds, and in February 2100 apartments in these 50 houses will be commissioned. By 2018, about 17000 apartments will be built in Sevastopol and Crimea, including dormitories. Thus, the military personnel of the Black Sea Fleet and the Crimean group will be provided with fully official housing,” the admiral said.
According to him, construction began when Crimea and Sevastopol were part of Ukraine, but with money from the Russian Federation.
“Nobody took anything from anyone. This is our land under the treaty. “All this is ours,” concluded Alexander Vitko.
