400 people with weapons deserted from the positions of the Ukrainian army in the Donbass, ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Igor Markov said on the TVC channel.

“Naturally, no one in Ukraine announced this - on the night of February 21-22, 400 people from the Ukrainian side left the so-called contact line with full armament. 400 people just left! My personal assumption is that these are the nationalists who were in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and they allegedly went to Kyiv. 400 people de facto deserted, and there is not a word or breath about it! You don’t understand what turbulent processes are taking place in Ukraine, and where these 400 people will emerge tomorrow. They’re not shooting yet, but they are there somewhere,” Markov said.
