41% of Americans believe that Trump will be able to build the right relationship with Putin
The majority of Americans - 56% - have an unfavorable view of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

This is evidenced by the survey results released on September 25, conducted by the Associated Press agency together with the company GfK, DW reports.
It is noted that only every tenth of those surveyed views Putin favorably.
At the same time, 24% of Americans believe that the Russian president has leadership qualities that an American president should have. 71% disagree with this statement.
41% of respondents believe that Republican candidate Donald Trump will build the right relationship with Putin. A similar statement regarding Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton is shared by 53% of Americans. At the same time, 42% of respondents believe that Trump will be too close to Russia in his foreign policy. According to Clinton, only 11% of respondents share this fear.
The online survey was conducted from September 15 to 19. 1694 people took part in it, of which 1476 were registered voters. The sampling error is 2,5%.
