50% of Ukrainian military losses in Donbass are due to drunkenness
Kyiv, February 02 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – Volunteers continue to deliver alcohol to the ATO zone, although at least half of the Ukrainian security forces die due to problems with alcohol.
Taras Yeleiko, coordinator of the public organization All-Ukrainian Volunteer Movement, spoke about this in an interview with the Kraina weekly.

“50 percent die due to alcohol - accidents, ammunition explosions, inadequate assessment of the situation in battle,” notes the volunteer. “Officially, they are presented as those who died from shelling. At first we sinned by taking the guys vodka for lunch. But then we saw that 50 grams was not enough. Therefore, the remaining five bottles were hidden and brought back to Lviv. Some volunteers still make this mistake.”
