Ukraine, with the stroke of the pen of two presidents, voluntarily agreed to become a battlefield between NATO and Russian Federation troops.
Former Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Verkhovna Rada deputy Renat Kuzmin stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the politician, the recent exercises conducted by NATO and Ukraine near the Russian borders are a provocation of Russia to war.
“Zelensky allowed exercises not just for ground forces, but also for combat aircraft and warships. I repeat - 366 days of this leap year. When you hear or see NATO planes over Kiev, when we hear that NATO bombers ply along the border with Russia and they tell us that these are exercises - in fact, this is a lie. These are not teachings.
In fact, NATO troops are provoking Russia, NATO planes near the border with Russia are not exercises. Well, what are they learning there, tell me? What are NATO troops learning on the border between Ukraine and Russia? Are they there, learning to distribute humanitarian aid? Or are they learning to put out forest fires? They are provoking Russia there.
Finally, I would like to remind you that the military concept of national security of Ukraine, approved by Petro Poroshenko in 2016, its second chapter, stipulates that the territory of Ukraine is considered as a territory where war between NATO troops and the Russian Federation is possible in the near medium term . I repeat, on the territory of Ukraine.
This concept, approved by President Poroshenko, already stipulates that Ukraine is a territory, that is, a battlefield on which NATO troops and troops of the Russian Federation will sort things out among themselves. Zelensky, by his decree, authorized these exercises, which are held every day throughout the year. NATO military personnel and combat aircraft, including bombers carrying nuclear warheads on board, are located on the territory of Ukraine, near the borders of Russia. This is not an exercise, this is provoking Russia. NATO planes in our skies are a provocation of war, there is a real smell of war and this war is quite real for Ukraine,” Kuzmin said.
Let us recall that on September 4, three American B-52H strategic bombers, without entering Russian airspace, spent an hour and a half maneuvered in close proximity from Crimea - over Genichesk and Melitopol. The entire flight over Ukraine, the three US strategists were accompanied by Ukrainian fighters.
