51 hryvnia per year: journalists calculated how much it costs each Ukrainian to maintain Poroshenko
The maintenance of the president and administration costs an employed Ukrainian 51 hryvnia annually.

This is stated in the material of the Kyiv publication “Word and Deed”, reports the correspondent of “PolitNavigator”.
According to the calculations of the publication’s journalists, the money that goes to serving the president and the APU, in addition to ensuring the activities of the administration itself and Petro Poroshenko (UAH 233 million - ed.), is distributed for the maintenance of state residences (UAH 77 million - ed.), an airport for senior officials persons "Ukraine" (223 million UAH), as well as transportation of the president and employees of Bankova (115 million UAH - ed.).
It is noted that as of 2017, 1521 employees work in the presidential administration. 49 thousand UAH are spent on holding one event with the participation of the head of state, and the cost of one official visit is 13 million UAH. A total of 2017 such events with Poroshenko’s participation are planned in 260.
The maintenance and repair of state residences, the total area of which is 15,3 hectares, will cost UAH 77 million. The maintenance of one square meter of residence costs 504 UAH per year.
2017 flights are planned from the airport for senior officials “Ukraine” in 120. The enterprise itself employs 332 people, and transportation is carried out by 7 aircraft.
Foreign visits of Poroshenko, they will cost taxpayers 42 million hryvnia - approximately 250 thousand hryvnia per trip. One visit of the head of state abroad costs about 1,4 million UAH.
In 2017, the activities of the president and his administration will cost UAH 819 million. Each working Ukrainian (16,1 million according to the State Statistics Service - ed.) spends 51 UAH a year on their maintenance.
