The 58th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was on the verge of a riot
Protests are brewing in the Ukrainian army caused by the postponement of personnel rotation.
Official representative of the operational command of the DPR Daniil Bezsonov announced this today during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In particular, he recalled that the press service of the DPR NM had previously stated that the situation in the 58th separate motorized infantry brigade remains critical due to the postponement of rotation.
“Explanatory conversations between the commander of the 13th battalion, Lieutenant Colonel Gulyaev, and military personnel in order to reduce tension in the battalion did not bring results. In this regard, the OOS command sent a commission to this unit in order to take tough measures to pacify the rebellious military personnel. The commission also included military counterintelligence officers,” said a representative of the DPR defense department.
Let us remind you that earlier the People’s Militia of the DPR reported that in order to ensure the “correct” voting result, Ukrainian Armed Forces military personnel will be left in the “Joint Forces Operation” zone without rotation until the end of the presidential elections in Ukraine.
