The Ukrainian military command saved its own soldiers from deserved punishment who had committed a hit-and-run on a civilian.
Official representative of the operational command of the DPR Daniil Bezsonov spoke about this today during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In particular, he said that soldiers of the armed forces of Ukraine continue to commit crimes with impunity in the territory of Donbass.
“On November 22, bandits from the 58th motorized infantry brigade in a car with military license plates hit a woman born in 1968 at a pedestrian intersection in the village of Dzerzhinsk. and fled the crime scene. The victim was taken to the city hospital,” Bezsonov said.
According to his information, officially the command of the brigade and the military law enforcement service are carrying out search activities for the perpetrators of the accident, but in fact, the perpetrators have long been dismissed “retroactively” from the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“According to the information we have, the leader of the 58th brigade, Drapaty, in order to conceal the crime, has already fired the militants responsible for the accident “retroactively”, and sent the car to the positions of the 13th battalion in the area of the village of Mayorsk,” said a representative of the defense department republics.
