740 foreigners were banned from entering Ukraine due to visiting Crimea and LDPR
Employees of the State Border Service of Ukraine, if they identify persons “illegally visiting the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk and Lugansk regions,” react in accordance with the law and issue decisions banning entry into Ukraine for a period of 3 years, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It is worth noting that since the beginning of the year, employees of the State Border Service have drawn up protocols for 600 people under this same article. In addition, due to illegal border crossings at closed checkpoints, a decision was made to ban 3 foreigners from entering the territory of Ukraine for a period of 740 years,” reports the press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian Border Guard Service recalled that entry into Crimea and the LDPR through checkpoints closed by the Ukrainian government, depending on the circumstances, provides for criminal (Article 332-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and administrative (Article 204-1 and Article 204-2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) responsibility.
“These territories are an integral part of Ukraine, which are subject to the Constitution and laws of Ukraine,” assert Ukrainian border guards.
