75th anniversary of the lifting of the siege of Leningrad: Donbass holds its defense longer than the city on the Neva
In the northern capital of Russia, today they celebrated the 75th anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the fascist blockade, which lasted 872 days, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
A ceremonial military parade was held on Palace Square in St. Petersburg, in which both equipment from the Great Patriotic War and modern models of Russian weapons took part.
Participants of the event were able to see with their own eyes the successor to the legendary T-34 Victory tank - the modern T-72B3 tank, the successors of the famous Katyushas - the Tornado-G MLRS, as well as the famous Iskander and Favorit missile systems.
It is noteworthy that this event caused undisguised irritation in the West. The German publication Süddeutsche Zeitung called the parade in St. Petersburg “dancing on bones.”
Criticizing the glorification in Russia of the commemorative dates of the Great Patriotic War, European “truth tellers” prefer not to notice the modern genocide carried out by the puppet authorities of Ukraine against the residents of Donbass, who have held the line longer than the siege of Leningrad lasted - more than four and a half years.
