Moldova considers the referendum in Crimea illegal

During the final briefing following the negotiations, Leanca said that the vote in Crimea on March 16 “contradicts the Constitution of Ukraine, international law, and represents a disregard for the integrity of the neighboring country.”
Radio Free Europe reports that Poland will provide the Republic of Moldova with a grant of 12 million euros. In addition, on Sunday, March 30, US Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nyland will arrive in Chisinau for an urgent short visit.
