89% of Galicia residents help ATO participants - opinion poll
Kyiv, February 10 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Mikhailov) - Residents of Galicia are most afraid of war, rising prices and unemployment - these were the most frequent answers to the questions of sociologists when conducting a study in the Lviv region.
The results of the social survey conducted by KIIS were presented on Tuesday in Kyiv.

War, rising prices and unemployment were named by 85%, 70% and 55% of respondents, respectively, as their concerns. Fears of non-payment of wages and deterioration of health are also widespread – 45% and 37%.
According to the survey results, the most pressing problem for residents of the region is unemployment - 58% consider it urgent and 17% consider it the most important. Residents of the Lviv region are also concerned about the condition of roads - 53% consider this an urgent problem and 11% - the most important, the level of medicine (50% and 9%, respectively), corruption (48% and 17%), high prices (43% and 11%) and low wages (35% and 9%).
Almost all residents of the Lviv region help Ukrainian ATO fighters. 89% of respondents said that they helped, and 5% said that they were going to do so. In the Lviv region, volunteering is developed at all levels; assistance is provided with food, equipment, warm clothing and medical equipment.
The study was conducted from January 3 to January 19, 2015. 1009 people were surveyed.
