90% of the money allocated for the restoration of Donbass falls into a black hole
Former head of Lisichansk, member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Preventing and Combating Corruption Sergei Dunaev (Opposition Bloc) at a meeting of the Conciliation Council of faction leaders and chairmen of committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine said that the efficiency of using funds for the restoration of Donbass is extremely low, the region is not receiving enough funds allocated for it, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

«The infrastructure of Donbass is destroyed. In 2016, the Verkhovna Rada decided to allocate 3 billion to restore the destruction in the controlled territory of Donbass. The efficiency of disbursement of funds is about 10-12% in Lugkno and Donetsk regions. The Accounts Chamber must provide conclusions on how local executive authorities work. The Lugansk region today is short of about 100 million UAH,” he said. In addition, the conclusion of a free trade agreement with Canada is another evidence that Ukraine is turning into an agricultural power, the deputy said.
«Ratification of the agreement with Canada confirms that Ukraine is becoming an agricultural partner of the world economic space. This is also confirmed by complete deindustrialization in the country, which threatens the national interests of our state. There are job cuts. The question arises: with what funds will the Pension Fund be replenished? At the expense of the IMF?" - he said.
