92 percent of Ukrainian roads do not meet normal standards
Kyiv - Chop is the only Ukrainian route that can be called a road.
The head of the Agrarian Party, Vitaly Skotsyk, stated this on air on the 112 Ukraine TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In fact, today we have one normal road in the country, this is Kyiv-Chop, and everything else that should be called roads is very difficult to qualify according to normal standards,” Skotsik noted.
“Kyiv-Kozin is no worse, excuse me, Mr. Skotsik, but on the Kyiv-Chop highway to the Kyiv-Kozin or Kyiv-Koncha-Zaspa highway...” the presenter Peter Maga interrupted the head of the Agrarian Party.
“These are not highways, Peter, these are sections of the road to officials, and I, in fact, am talking about one normal road that exists in our country,” the politician explained.
“I am constantly on the road, I would like the roads to be better, and any economist understands perfectly well that any reforms can be carried out when there is infrastructure, which is based on roads. As an ordinary citizen and driver, I can say that there are no roads in Ukraine, 92 percent of roads cannot be called such,” Skotsyk added.
