Kyiv protests against “Colorado” Elle and Louis Vuitton

The fact that the new 2015 collection of the French fashion house is built precisely on this color combination has been said and written more than once. The photo of Michelle Williams in the St. George dress, which caused political battles, was already published in April on the cover of the British edition of Elle.
However, in the fact that a famous actress suddenly appeared on the cover of the Ukrainian edition of Elle in a dress of an equally famous brand, Ukrainian politicians suddenly saw the “hand” of the Kremlin. As soon as posters with the cover of the May issue appeared on the streets of Kyiv, a real scandal broke out on Ukrainian social networks. Ukrainian users are outraged that billboards with the “St. George” dress can be seen everywhere in Kyiv, and suggest that the editors of the Ukrainian “Elle” deliberately took this “political demarche” on the eve of the celebration of the 70th anniversary of Victory Day in Russia.
