Grozny and Simferopol became partner cities
Simferopol, April 09 (Navigator, Evgeny Andreev) – Today in Simferopol, during an intermunicipal meeting of the capitals of the Republic of Crimea and Chechnya, an Agreement on bilateral cooperation was signed between the cities of Simferopol and Grozny.

Mayor Viktor Ageev signed the document from Simferopol, and city mayor Zaur Khizriev from Grozny.
“The Grozny delegation is the first official delegation to arrive in our city since the Republic of Kazakhstan joined Russia, and we are grateful to you for this first step in an effort to provide assistance to Simferopol,” commented Viktor Ageev on the signing of the Agreement.
In turn, Zaur Khizriev, on behalf of the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov and himself personally, congratulated the Crimeans and Simferopol residents on their return to the Russian Federation and the large family of Russian peoples.
“From the first days of events related to Crimea, Ramzan Akhmatovich took a specific and tough position on the Crimean issue, and today we are sincerely glad to restore historical justice and return Crimea home to Russia,” the mayor emphasized.
