“There is business in both Moscow and Crimea. But, you know, you always have to make a choice. One wise man in Turkey told me: “You have business in your head, but Crimea in your heart.” So it's a tough choice. But I’ve been walking around Kyiv for several days now and I’m glad that I did it. I'm sure this will be a salvation for the channel. You never know what could happen to me, but there will still be people here who can support ATR. I have the bulk of my business in Moscow, the laws are still in effect there and business is not completely lost there,” Islyamov said.
According to Islyamov, now in Kyiv it takes up to 15 thousand dollars to maintain the TV channels “ATR”, LALE, and the news agency “100 Minutes”, while in Crimea he spent up to 300 thousand for these purposes.
