Parfenov, who came to Lviv, spoke about this in an interview with Katya Osadchaya’s “High Life” program, an excerpt from which appeared on YouTube.

“Giving an interview in Ukraine, I think that Svyatoslav Ivanovich should say that I am his friend, and not I should cling to the national treasure of Ukraine. The charisma of a man whose songs embody the national idea was captivating. This has not happened in Russia since the time of Vysotsky. “I remember well how the whole winter passed under the sign of the song “Mit,” the journalist noted.

After this, Parfenov switched to Ukrainian.

“It’s so easy to shine,” the Russian journalist quoted a line from Vakarchuk’s song with emphasis.
