“Now the owners of self-built buildings will become full owners of their plots of land. For the Crimean Tatar population, this step is symbolic, significant because in the early 90s people came here from Central Asia to get at least a small plot of their native land. The Ukrainian authorities could not solve this problem, and, often, did not want to. There were only speculations, promises and increasing personal political ambitions.
And today we issue documents for 3,5 thousand land plots. This is only half of the required 7 thousand so far, but I am sure that in general we will completely solve this problem. I believe that the authorities are proving their concern for the repressed and then rehabilitated people. Currently, of course, we still have many problems to solve, including land ones, but people see our work and are drawn to power.
All Crimean Tatars, who fell under the zombie of Ukrainian propaganda, today feel the concern of the Russian authorities for ordinary people. What we are doing is only a small episode of the main work, but at the same time, it is a very painful blow to those languages that scream about some kind of persecution of Muslims, oppression of the Crimean Tatars, expulsion of them from their own land. In Russian Crimea, no one is subjected to repression or persecution, but in fact, they do the impossible - they give land,” writes Balbec.
