Lugansk, May 06 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Today at 4:00 a group of 20 people armed with automatic small arms attacked the radio engineering unit of one of the military units in the Lugansk region.

“Having a numerous advantage, the saboteurs overcame the resistance of the Ukrainian military personnel who were guarding the facility, took possession of several small arms, and also destroyed the radar station by arson. After committing an act of sabotage, the attackers fled the scene,” the Prosecutor General’s Office said.

The Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations contains information about the commission of a criminal offense under Art. 113 (sabotage) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

As the department emphasized, a legal assessment will be given to the actions of military personnel to repel an attack on a protected military facility.
