This statement was made by the head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Alexander Tkachuk.
“We have received operational data that not only regular employees of the Russian special services, but also private IT companies, as well as the environment of hackers who are actively operating on the territory of the Russian Federation are directly involved in the implementation of these attacks. Unfortunately, our country has recently been the main target of attacks from the Russian Federation. This is not only our information, but also information from our colleagues. As an example, these are the attacks that occurred in December 2016 against the state system of Ukraine,” says the Ukrainian official.
