“I remember that Soviet songs about Sevastopol kept me awake at night. I tried to do what I could. And when Sevastopol was taken, the music disappeared. Now I’m dreaming: “On the streets of beautiful Odessa... something... an airborne battalion.” Now there is a goal,” Limonov said on Narod TV.

He stated that he would like “Russian history to develop in this direction.”

“In 91, the liberal bastard forgot 27 million Russians outside of Russia. I already thought then: this will go away someday. It hasn't shied away enough yet. What is happening in Donbass and Ukraine is a consequence of the criminal mistakes that were made then. Now we have to pay a bloody price for it. When I traveled around Central Asia in the 90s, they said: Russians, who did you abandon us to,” Limonov said.
