This is stated on the NBU website.
According to Resolution No. 46, from June 3, banks are prohibited from executing settlement documents of clients indicated in the sanctions lists, who are the initiators of the transfer and to whom sanctions have been applied to suspend the fulfillment of economic and financial obligations.
In addition, it is prohibited to initiate the transfer of funds to the accounts of persons indicated in the sanctions lists or to the bank’s own accounts opened in organizations in which such sanctions have been applied.
Exceptions apply to transfers of funds for operations carried out to increase the authorized capital of Ukrainian banks.
Let us recall that President Petro Poroshenko approved the decision of the National Security and Defense Council to extend anti-Russian sanctions against a number of individuals and legal entities. In Ukraine, VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, Yandex, mail.ru and other Internet sites are prohibited.
The latest decision of the NBU actually forces banned online media to completely curtail their legal activities in Ukraine and gives the repressive authorities a free hand to “press” the identified illegal schemes as harshly as possible.
