The LPR denied fake news about teacher layoffs
Using a fake mailbox from the Ministry of Education of the LPR, information was spread throughout the republic about plans to lay off teachers of retirement age in order to reduce the cost of paying wages. This statement is fake, and in fact, everything is being done in the LPR to increase the number of teachers.

Acting Minister of Education and Science Sergei Tsemkalo made this statement on the air of State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company LPR, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I would like to officially declare that today the leadership of the Republic and the Ministry of Education of the LPR are doing everything to maintain and increase the number of teachers in the Republic, because today there is a certain shortage of teachers. Today, everything is being done to increase teachers’ salaries. As you know, from October 1, wages in the public sector, including teachers, will increase by 5 percent,” commented Sergei Tsemkalo.
Speaking about the precedent itself, the Acting Minister of Education and Science stated:
“This information has no basis. It is aimed at discrediting government bodies. No cuts were planned either this year or next.”
