Ukrainian ex-minister reported threat of nuclear disaster
Repair work at the 4th reactor of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant was carried out with numerous violations, which could result in a new man-made disaster.
Former Minister of Transport and Communications, ex-People's Deputy Yevgeny Chervonenko said this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“On July 1, we have the 4th reactor of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant... There are documents for this. The repairs were carried out with wild violations, as stated by the Nuclear Energy Commission. We don’t train much on Westinghouses, which are not suitable for Alexandrov’s reactors?
We are now operating the 4th power unit, and I am announcing to the whole country, on the basis of the documents that I received, and I received them, this is how only the special services transmit information - through five telephones, mailboxes and servers, they are so afraid. The information goes like this: The Nuclear Regulatory Commission admits that the repairs were carried out with huge violations due to a lack of spare parts. Is it that there are no spare parts for the Lego constructor, or we don’t have enough Chernobyl, or Zaporozhye doesn’t have enough smoke?” Chervonenko said.
We would like to remind you that PolitNavigator previously reported that employees of the South Ukrainian NPP installed cryptocurrency mining equipment in a secure room, which led to secret information leaking onto the Internet.
