Yekhanurov: Ukraine forever received the Karabakh scenario in Donbass
It will not be possible to achieve a peaceful settlement in Donbass; a frozen conflict will exist there indefinitely, as in Nagorno-Karabakh.
Former Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuriy Yekhanurov stated this on the NEWSONE TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The fact that there will be a meeting is positive. What to expect? My point of view is that the result will be a Karabakh option.
The conflict in Karabakh has been going on for 30 years. They shoot once a day. One side and the other side.
Some people are unlucky; once a month someone may get hurt. Once a year someone is killed. This is how such a war goes. That is, no one recognizes, there is no peace agreement.
If this were a conflict within Ukraine, that would be one thing. Since the conflict is supported by another state, this is completely different.
As long as funding continues, as long as money and weapons continue to flow, this conflict can exist,” argues Yekhanurov, without specifying who started the civil war in his own country.
