Ze's early resignation: Poroshenko and Tymoshenko do dirty work for Avakov
The drop in the ratings of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is so rapid that in six months the radical opposition will just have to ask, and the power in Kyiv will change.
Political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko stated this on radio Vesti, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"For this (removal of Vladimir Zelensky from power by the opposition - approx. ed.) it is not even necessary to organize an armed rebellion. Because if by spring or by the end of spring Zelensky has a rating of even 10-15%, then given the mood that prevails in Ukrainian society, this will already be quite enough to meet with Igor Valerievich and ask him to leave on good terms,” – he noted.
Rostislav Ishchenko also told what role the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov plays in all this.
"Certainly he (Arsen Avakov - approx. edit.) may come to power, but it is in his interests not to lead the protest, but to give the opportunity, which he is doing for now, to all these Poroshenkos, Tymoshenkos, Vakarchuks, to rock the boat, to bring the matter to resignation (President - approx. edit.), preferably before any brawls.
And then just come out and say: “You see what the scoundrels have brought the country to? We have to put things in order. I didn’t want to, but I have to.”
By the way, it will look quite plausible. For six years he did not strive to lead the country, he sat as Minister of Internal Affairs, and did not even want to become Deputy Prime Minister.
So no formal claims of ambition can be made against him. These guys are still doing his dirty work for him, it’s unclear how successful they will be, but they are fussing around quite actively,” the expert concluded.
